Support does not become more effective through pressure, compliance, or trying harder.
It becomes more useful when people understand what may be happening in the nervous system and have practical ways to respond with greater clarity, steadiness, and care.
I offer customized workshops and trainings for schools, preschools, daycares, studios, clinics, seniors’ centres, community organizations, and support teams.
My approach brings together nervous-system education, somatic movement, trauma-informed practice, sensory awareness, and a neurodivergent-affirming perspective. Rather than offering abstract theory alone, I teach in ways that are clear, embodied, accessible, and relevant to real environments with real people.
Depending on your setting and goals, a workshop may help your group:
Build a clearer understanding of nervous-system responses and how they can influence attention, behaviour, stress, communication, and connection.
Recognize different signs of overwhelm, withdrawal, high activation, or reduced capacity across children, youth, adults, and older adults.
Develop supportive relational responses that can help people feel more oriented, understood, and connected.
Learn simple body-based and sensory-aware practices that can be adapted for classrooms, workplaces, care settings, community spaces, or daily life.
Respond to overwhelm and sensory stress with more understanding and less shame.
Consider how the environment, expectations, communication style, and pace may affect participation.
Create spaces that are more accessible, relational, neurodivergence-affirming, and sustainable.
I would change “co-regulation skills” to “supportive relational responses” in the main list unless the workshop is specifically designed around co-regulation. This makes the language less jargon-heavy and avoids implying that one person is responsible for regulating another person.
You can still use “co-regulation” in a workshop title or description where you explain what you mean.
Workshops can be adapted for different audiences and may include:
Nervous-system-informed support for teachers, educational assistants, and school staff.
Understanding stress, attention, and participation in educational settings.
Co-regulation, sensory awareness, and relational support for helping professionals.
Parent and caregiver education sessions.
Supporting neurodivergent children and adults without relying on shame, compliance, or forced masking.
Community wellness workshops for adults and seniors.
Gentle somatic and movement-based practices for stress, mobility, connection, and everyday capacity.
Nervous-system-informed communication and environmental support.
Understanding the impact of chronic demand, transitions, and sensory load.
Each training is adapted to the needs, setting, group size, and goals of your organization.
A session may include:
Foundational nervous-system education in clear, accessible language.
Examples connected to your actual setting.
Somatic and movement-based practices that are realistic and inclusive.
Reflection, discussion, and opportunities to ask questions.
Practical strategies that participants can adapt and use after the session.
Consideration of different bodies, learning styles, sensory needs, communication styles, and access needs.
Resources or take-home materials where appropriate.
No one is expected to perform, disclose personal experiences, participate in movement, or “get it right.”
My goal is to create a learning environment that feels practical, respectful, accessible, and useful beyond the training itself.
I offer training and workshops for:
Schools and school support teams.
Preschools, daycares, and early-learning programs.
Educational assistants and caregivers.
Studios, clinics, and wellness organizations.
